Esmeralda Maya is the founder and lead instructor of DoPapers.com, an educational platform designed to teach everyday individuals how to professionally and accurately prepare immigration forms in the United States without the need for an attorney.
Born in Valledupar, Colombia, she emigrated to the United States in 1985. In 1993, she graduated from Florida State University in Tallahassee with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and studies in Italian Language and Culture.
Since 2005, Ms. Maya has successfully worked as an immigration document preparer in South Florida, helping hundreds of individuals and families complete important applications with USCIS and other government agencies.
Her commitment to education dates back to 1995. Between 1995 and 2011, she worked as a teacher in various capacities, teaching life skills in correctional centers, training unemployed individuals through the Florida Department of Labor, and educating both adults and children in public schools in Broward and Palm Beach counties.
Through her experience in the immigration field, Esmeralda Maya transformed community service into a profitable and sustainable business, with earnings that have surpassed those of many college-educated professionals. Today, her mission is to share that knowledge with others, empower those who wish to learn this profession, and provide a real path toward financial independence while serving their communities.
Through DoPapers.com, Ms. Maya offers practical, clear, and accessible courses to train the next generation of immigration forms preparers, always promoting ethics, accuracy, and responsible service.
Richard Anthony Ortega
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Richard Anthony Ortega is the CEO of DoPapers.com, an innovative educational platform that trains individuals to become professional immigration forms preparers. The son of two immigrants from different cultural backgrounds, Richard was born and raised in the United States, enjoying the opportunities offered by the American dream. From a young age, he felt the desire to share that dream with those who, like his parents, are seeking a better life in this country.
For years, he has offered assistance to immigrants in his community through translations and guidance, always committed to making a positive difference. His professional background in sales and entrepreneurship allowed him to develop key skills in leadership, innovation, and customer service.
In 2021, Richard graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a bachelor’s degree focused on Business Administration, further strengthening his entrepreneurial vision and passion for empowering others.
Today, as the leader of the DoPapers team, Richard combines his experience, vision, and commitment to the immigrant community to lead a clear mission: helping others help. Under his leadership, DoPapers.com not only provides high-quality technical training but also a real pathway for more individuals to start their own business, increase their income, and serve with integrity those who need it most.
Ernesto Parodi
Immigration Document Preparer and Customer Service Coordinator
Ernesto Parodi is a Christian pastor and Colombian attorney, committed to serving his community both spiritually and professionally. He was born in Fonseca, Guajira, and currently resides in Bogotá, Colombia, where he works remotely as a professional immigration document preparer for clients in the United States.
Ernesto graduated in 2011 as an attorney from the prestigious Universidad de La Sabana in Bogotá. His career includes working as a human resources attorney in the Colombian House of Representatives, where he stood out for his ethics, leadership, and dedication to public service.
On a personal level, Ernesto is happily married and is the father of two young children, whom he considers his greatest blessing and motivation. His strong legal background, combined with his pastoral vocation, has allowed him to connect with human needs from a holistic perspective.
Since completing his training through DoPapers.com courses, Ernesto has found a new way to serve: helping immigrants correctly complete their immigration procedures while building an independent, stable, and purposeful career. Today, in addition to preparing documents, Ernesto is also part of the DoPapers customer service team, guiding new students through their learning process.

Ludmila Marinov
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Ludmila Marinov is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of DoPapers.com, where she meticulously oversees all accounting, tax, and administrative aspects of the platform. Born in Moldova, she emigrated to the United States over a decade ago with the dream of growing professionally in the financial sector. Today, that dream has become a well-established reality.
With a strong background in accounting and tax preparation, Ludmila not only leads DoPapers’ financial structure but also runs her own accounting firm, Profit Ledger Accounting, based in Miami, Florida. Through her firm, she provides comprehensive accounting services, tax advice, and financial planning to local businesses and independent professionals across the country.
Her work at DoPapers combines her technical expertise with a passion for helping entrepreneurs and professionals achieve financial stability and comply with legal requirements for proper operation. Ludmila is recognized for her meticulousness, strategic approach, and commitment to transparency and sustainable growth in the projects she supports.

Ivan Darío Villota

Iván Darío Villota is the Director of Audiovisual Production at DoPapers.com, responsible for bringing the online courses to life through clear, professional, and high-impact visual production. Since April 2024, Iván has been a key part of the team, ensuring that each educational video not only delivers accurate information but also provides a visually engaging and accessible learning experience.
Born in Colombia, Iván emigrated to the United States with his parents over 20 years ago, giving him a deep understanding of the immigrant experience. This personal background has allowed him to authentically connect with DoPapers’ mission and bring a unique sensitivity to content presentation.
With a strong background in the audiovisual field, Iván is a creative, meticulous professional passionate about storytelling that inspires, teaches, and transforms. Outside of his career, Iván enjoys a fulfilling family life with his wife and two children, who are his greatest source of inspiration.
